It is a journey for those seeking adventure, solitude, and a true connection with the wild heart of Africa.
ADVENTURE CAMPING
For the Adventure Camping safaris, guests are only required to set up and pack their tents and help out getting their luggage in and out the trailers. All cooking, cleaning and any other camp chores are taken care of by the Bush Ways Safaris team made up of one guide, one camp assistant, and on selected departures one interpreter.
Safari With Me Safaris provides guests with: 2.1m x 2.1m x 1.75m dome tents to share (single on request – extra charges apply); a 5cm high-density foam mattress per guest (extra mattress on request – extra charges apply); cooking in front of camp. Guests should bring their own sleeping bags and pillows but can also request to rent from us (extra charges apply)
Note: camping is primarily done in wild areas of untouched nature, parks and game reserves that are completely wild and unfenced with no facilities or equipment, our teams set up a full camp including: shared bush toilets and bush shower a mobile kitchen and dining area. Guests need to provide their own drinks. Tea , coffee and filtered water complimentary while at camp. Guests should bring their own water bottle.
PREMIUM CAMPING
The Premium Camping is a camping safari that does not require any participation from guests. All camp set-up and camp chores are carried out by our teams. There is one guide (and on selected departures an interpreter) with the guests at all times and a backup team (camp assistants/chefs) in a backup vehicle setting up and breaking camps, cooking meals, etc. Tents are more spacious than on the adventure camping safaris and feature extra conveniences. Groups are smaller for even more comfort and personalized service and attention.

Each tent has an ensuite ablution section with direct access from the tent, which includes a bucket shower and bush toilet, along with a small stand with mirror, bowl and jug for water.
